His wife had recently died -- not at all like the description in The Kindness Of Women -- and one would imagine JGB is having a tough time concentrating... Dune Limbo is the reselling of parts of The Drought, and Prisoner of the Coral Deep might well be re-examined from a biographical stance. This also marks a turning point in JGB's style.
